Born and raised amidst the farmlands near Ashland, Ohio, Adrian moved to the big city to attend the University of Toledo. In the (many) years he spent in pursuit of a BA in English, Adrian fell in love with the broad community of poets in Northwest Ohio. He is a founding member of the Almeda Street Poets and the Toledo Poetry Museum, a collaborator in Toledo’s annual Back to Jack memorial reading, and a frequenter of as many readings and open-mics as time allows. Adrian’s work has appeared in a few small journals, as well as the anthology Tuesday Night at Sam and Andy’s Uptown Café (Westron Press, 2001). Now a line worker in the Toledo Jeep assembly complex, Adrian continues to bang away on his typewriter in the wee hours of the morning, trying not to wake his brilliant wife and two lovely children.
